A beach resort near Swift's mansion in Westerly, R.I., in 2016 fueled gossip about where she would hold her wedding to singer Travis Kelce.
WESTERLY, R.I.- A beachfront clock on the same block as Taylor Swift's Watch Hill mansion is denying a report that Swift bought the couple's wedding at the venue.
"Ocean House is not a race or a new party or entering a marriage group," says Stepeter.
Page Six reported on Thursday that Swift cut the bride "a heavy check" to purchase the June 13, 2026 date at the venue after learning it was already booked by another couple.Swift, 35, got engaged to Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Travis Kelce in August.
The Swift wedding gossip mill is relentless.The rumor that Swift bought a couple's date on June 13 at Ocean House is not new and has been circulating in Rhode Island since September.
In interviews to promote her new album in early October, Swift said she wasn't working on wedding plans yet, but wanted to throw a big party.
Wedding industry experts have noted that if Swift and Kelce hold their wedding at her Watch Hill mansion on Bluff Avenue, known as the Holiday House, Ocean House would be an ideal place for celebrity guests to stay.The hotel is a stone's throw away and has 49 rooms and 20 suites.
In early September, Johnson and Wabble University Hospital said, "They need everything."
But the Ocean House website still had rooms available for booking until Friday morning, June 13, when the cheapest room was more than $3,700 with a four-night minimum.According to the resort's website, the date appeared to be sold out by Friday afternoon as reports of the rumored wedding date circulated.
Swift is known for signing non-disclosure agreements with vendors and companies.The venue did not say if they were negotiating any aspect of Swift's wedding or if the wedding was booked for June 13.
