AP Top 25 Poll post-conference championship released
An hour before the CFP bracket was shown, the AP Top 25 rankings were released. No surprise, Indiana is No. 1. However, voters' placing of Miami ahead of Alabama may cause some uproar - as the Crimson Tide favors a CFP field construction over the Hurricanes.
The CFP format will change for the 2025 season
The 2025 CFP will be the second year with 12 teams.However, unlike last season, there are some slight variations in the format for this year's bracket.One of those changes is that the conference champions will no longer be assigned the 1-4 seeds.
