US election deadline: Election college votes must be counted before Mike Pence announces Joe Biden’s victory over Donald Trump

The U.S. Election College poll finally took place six weeks after the Americans went to the polls.

The focus is now shifting to January 6, as Vice President Mike Pence plans to clean up the final nail in Donald Trump’s presidency by reading out the official results of each state in alphabetical order.
