“We want to ensure the best celebration of our 10 years, as the predictions of health conditions in June 2021 do not meet 100% of the criteria for a festival in its capacity. By setting our dates in September, we have the ambition to be one of the first major events of the Parisian cultural re – entry of French and American independent cinema. We look forward to meeting the public in theaters to discover new dramas and now I can tell you that we have a great surprise and unusual version for festival goers! ” Sophie Tulac
Who can register?
All of the emerging screenwriters are cameramen. Dedicated to the general public and to discover new talents, the festival should serve as a bridge between French and American cinematography, a meeting place for young works, and cinematography and music. Every year there is a selection of French and American films in all the theaters of the most beautiful avenue in the world, including competitions, previews, guests of honor and a sophisticated music selection.
At the center of the festival, feature and short film competitions are aimed at showcasing new works that provide a panorama of the latest independent productions from both countries. Each year, it brings together more than 25,000 visitors and experts at the Champs-Elysees. The festival actively defends the growing talents, freedom of tone, parts of the experiment and cinematography experiments to deliver bold, original and concrete films each year.

Choices and assets
- 6 independent French films and 6 independent American films will make official selections and compete for the following prizes:
– Jury Prize for French Independent Film awarded 11 11,000 for distribution in France. If there are no distributors in the film, a French distributor will get 1 year and endowment to buy the film.
– The Jury Prize for Independent American Film was awarded with the assistance of ,000 11,000 to be distributed in France. If there are no distributors in the film, a French distributor will get 1 year and endowment to buy the film.
– Jury Prizes for Best French and American Directors 2 2,500 each;
– Audience Awards for French and American Independent Films;
– Critics’ prize for French and American independent films presented by the Press Jury;
- About twenty French and American short films will make official selections and compete for the following prizes:
– Jury Prize for Independent French Short Films, Director awarded ,500 2,500;
– Jury Prize for American Independent Short Film, Director awarded ,500 2,500;
– Audience Award for French Independent Short Film;
– Audience Award for American Independent Short Film.
The short and feature film Jury is made up of talents that represent French work today and tomorrow. In a bid to be supported by innovations and encounters, the festival wants jurors to promote and support films selected for the four official competitions. The jury prizes are awarded by La Bank Transatlantic Luxembourg (excluding the Best Director Award).
