Here are those who don't care about a face in the baseball world today:
1. World Series to Los Angeles:
The World Series departed Toronto yesterday all tied up after a dominant complete game from right-hander Yoshinobu Yamamoto, and now both teams have arrived in L.A. for Game 3. On the mound for the Dodgers is right-hander Tyler Glasnow (3.19), while the Blue Jays will counter with veteran righty Max Scherzer (5.19 ERA). The future Hall of Famer had an uneven year, but he did manage to strike out five in 5 2/3 innings while surrendering two runs in a start against Seattle in Game 4 of the ALCS. Glasnow, meanwhile, pitched 1 2/3 scoreless frames in Game 1 of the NLDS before firing off six scoreless in Game 4 of that series. He went on to allow one run in 5 2/3 innings of work against the Brewers. Tonight’s game is scheduled for 5pm local time in Los Angeles.

According to reports last night, it was reported that the Orioles are finalizing a deal to make the Giants' associate manager the new manager in Baltimore.Albertz, who celebrates his 43rd birthday this weekend, will be hired as an associate manager under Stephen Vogt this year after spending his first season as a bench coach in Cleveland.He previously served on the Giants' major league coaching staff and in the minor leagues as manager of the Rays.
Now that he's about to get his first chance in the big leagues, the news takes a highly sought-after prospect off the hands of other organizations.It also creates a vacancy on the Guardians' coaching staff that needs to be filled, and gives some insight into whether the Orioles will keep Tony Mansolino as part of their coaching staff under Albernaz.Mansolino was the club's third base coach for many years.a year before being appointed interim manager for most of the 2025 season.
3. Manager and GM vacancies still unfilled:
While Albernaz's hiring clears up another managerial gig, there are plenty of hires left this winter.The Twins are expected to have a group of four finalists for their manager's job, while the Rockies are expected to have at least two finalists in their search for the team's next head of baseball operations.It is understood the Padres have conducted some interviews, including future Hall of Famer Albert Puyola.The Nationals have interviewed former Orioles manager Brandon Hyde, and there are managerial vacancies in Atlanta and possibly in Colorado.Which franchise will set the next path for its future great success?

How cool.The funny part was after that weak version of the anthem, the crowd was tense, waiting for them to say the Montreal Canadiens version of Oh Canada when it was their turn.As bad as America's national anthem was, Canada's went down like a pancake.The crowd was quickly disillusioned.We're all waiting for Canada to become the 51st state anyway.GO DODGERS!

Surprisingly they are going for Game 3 of Bieber with Scherzer, so it also lines up with a theoretical Game 7. But I think Max had a better start last time.

Yes. If Janus can grind out Glasnow early and Dodeg can get enough of the bullpen, so can they. If Glasnow goes 7+, the Dodgers have a chance to win.
It should be interesting to see what Mad Max can do in the World Series against an old team.He may no longer have premium parts, but he still has 100% of the competitive fire he always had.

Glasnow doesn't pitch very often, so he should be an easy guy to take out of the game and put in a vulnerable spot. He only averaged 5 innings, so that should be enough to pitch the Dodgers in Game 3. It looks like Team Japan is playing the Dodgers because the rest of their offense can't do much.
