I am a famous star Vernon Kay lost two stones during his work at the castle and his wife Des Daley has vowed to fatten him up when he gets home.

The Delhi presenter barely ate rice and beans for three weeks.

Vernon finished in the top three and is expected to head home from Wales today.

His wife, Strictly Come Dancing Host Des, 51, can’t wait to see him, and he has made a big store in Waitrose in preparation for his return.

In a post on Instagram, she revealed that her husband is now 30 pounds (two stone) lighter, so he is determined to help her get back to normal.

He keeps in the fridge with all his favorite foods, bringing home pork, pasta and fruit and Vernon’s favorite Yorkshire tea bags.

In a post online, he wrote: “Vern told me he lost 30 pounds of weight!

“So, I went shopping to prepare some of his food for him to come back.

“Mostly meat, chocolate and of course his favorite Yorkshire tea bags.”

She told her husband to come home because the refrigerator was in stock

She shared a video with her husband showing her waitress bag overflowing with snacks.

Des told Vernon to hurry home “because the refrigerator is in reserve.”

After Vernon took the top three spots at I Am A Celebrity last night, Tess revealed she was “not proud of him”.

He wrote: “Love you Vern.

“What a roller coaster … he wanted to make us proud, he made us proud !!

“He’s a winner in our eyes. We need to take him home!”

Vernon took a special blanket from the family living room into the camp as his luxury item, which Tess admitted would “wash straight” when she returned.
