Morocco joined 142 other countries in condemning the annexation of Ukrainian territories by the Russian military after not participating in the first UN General Assembly member state vote last March.

Russia, Belarus, Syria, North Korea and Nicaragua voted against the resolution. Additionally, 35 member states abstained, including China, India, Pakistan and South Africa.
