Ken Ramirez joins Hyundai Motor in North America

Formerly Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the PSA Group Europe Region, Ken Ramirez Joined Hyundai Motor Company as CEO of the Brazil brand and in the Central and South American region. In his new activities, he reports Jose Munos, Hyundai COO and President of Hyundai’s North America Region.

At age 50, Ken Ramirez is a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology (USA). In 1992, he began his career as a senior business manager at Motorola. In 2003, he joined the Renault-Nissan alliance, where he held various positions, particularly in North America as Project Director Nissan (2008), Nissan Mexico’s Director of Planning and Planning (July 2008). In 2011, Nissan was appointed General Manager of Latin America and the Caribbean for the purpose of the 37 countries responsible for the Nissan and Infiniti brands. In 2013, Renault became the United Kingdom’s Managing Director for the Renault and Dacia brands in the Northern Europe region (United Kingdom, Ireland, Cyprus and Malta). In 2016, he was appointed G9 Europe Sales Director and a member of the Renault Group’s Executive Committee. In 2018, Nissan became Vice President of Sales and Marketing in Europe. Since July 2019, he has been the Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the Europe Region of the PSA Group.
