After several cold days in southern Norway and mild temperatures in the north of the country, this will change over the weekend.
On Friday morning, meteorologists posted on Twitter that the temperature measurement showed five minus degrees in lindeness, but three plus degrees in Honningswake. One thing they point out is that it is not entirely common at this time of year.
Usually these temperatures are the opposite. The reason for this unusual difference is that a high pressure has developed towards southern Norway. This leads to cold air masses coming from Russia, meteorologist Saralambos Sarkozytis, who is on duty at the Meteorological Institute in Trams, told Netavision earlier this week.
Now that is changing
The weekend temperature will change now. In southern Norway, temperatures will rise slowly over the weekend, with snow and ice expected on Saturday, which will turn into rain on Sunday.

Rainfall is high in western Norway, but extends to eastern Norway this weekend.
In northern Norway, this will be the typical building weather. Expect temperatures to drop over the weekend and snow and ice locally along the coast.
Next week wet and windy
Next week it will be plus degrees in the west and south and in the north you will feel minus degrees again.
– The situation has turned upside down, in other words, meteorologists write on Twitter.
In addition, there will be a large low pressure in the south during the week, which will bring rain and snow to the entire country in addition to strong winds.
