Qualcomm usually hosts its annual Snapdragon Technology Summit in Maui, Hawaii – but this time the company continued to release everything thanks to the COVID-19 epidemic.
The company has released its next gen flagship Snapdragon 888 SoC, the latest and best from Qualcomm, which features a fully integrated 5G modem and RF front-end in X60 chip format. Last year’s primary, The Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 – dropped the X55 modem from the chip, but now Qualcomm has integrated it into the Snapdragon 888.
What does this mean? That means every Snapdragon 888 running device in 2021 and beyond will have world-class 5G performance. There are other great things lurking beneath the new Snapdragon 888, including some major upgrades to gaming, cameras, AI and more.
The new Snapdragon X60 modem has a maximum download speed of 7.5 Gbps, with uploads peaking at 3 Gbps – while you have the new WiFi 6E standard and much more.
Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 888 processor is also built into the 5nm terminal, while it can operate future smartphones up to 4K60Hz or QHD + up to 144Hz. The previous Zen Snapdragon 865 can operate QHD + at 120 Hz, so the upgrade to 144Hz is a good pump.
It shouldn’t be too long as long as there are 4K 120Hz gaming smartphones in this place.
