“You can’t teach an old dog new tricks.”
Old proverb is a problem because someone or something is put in their way, the behavior they have learned, their daily routine – that is. This is the end of the game.
There is nothing that you can do about it and there is no going back.
On the day of the riot, Joe Biden tweeted: “America is so much better Than we see today.
Barack Obama called it “a moment of great humiliation and humiliation for our country.”
Even Mitt Romney, a leading Republican who once supported Donald Trump, denounced the former reality TV presenter and his supporters, saying, “They [Trump’s supporters] Their role in this shameful chapter in American history will be remembered.
Thousands of Americans have taken to social media to express their views by writing “This is not America I know” or “This is not America”.
Here’s the thing. This is the United States. This is the United States.
Many Americans have been so privileged to see it, that the rose-colored glasses used by people to see what is now called the largest country in the world are shattered, and people are finally starting. Let America see what it is.
After browsing social media a few days after the attack on American democracy, I came across a bad Facebook post:
“America, you need treatment பதிலாக Instead of saying ‘this is not me’, try to say ‘this is not what I want to be’. “
The author of this post is dead.

Americans can say anything – “This is not my America”, “What happened to our big country?” – But the point is, America has been around for hundreds of years. The vast majority of people have just realized the appeal of the seeds we have sown over the centuries.
Damage has occurred.
Saying things like “this is who we are” or “this is not the America I know” and then doing nothing to change it is the equivalent of a man or a woman realizing that adults are the most toxic in their lives and then expect others to change when they sit down and wreak havoc on the lives around them.
This Exactly Those who are privileged to see blindly who America is but what is really happening in this country are now joining America’s high frequency black, brown, LGBTQ + and others oppressed communities for centuries.
The rioters who attacked Capitol on behalf of Donald Trump – most of them whites – have carried out the most despicable attacks on democracy in the history of this country.
While some of the rioters have been identified and arrested for taking part in the riots, this is the great outcry of protesters who have been arrested for quietly protesting against police brutality against the Black and Brown people over the summer. Finally following George Floyd. Murder.
The superior complex of Trump supporters who attacked Capital is dazzling and echoes the toxic ideologies that the United States built hundreds of years ago.
Many social media users, prominent politicians, public figures and many others have called for America to be healed.
Let us make one thing clear: our country does not need to be healed. America must change, and most importantly, the people of this country must change.
We can no longer sit and trust others to do that work. Every citizen of this country should make an effort to help change this country.
Otherwise, we would be trapped in the same vicious cycle that we have lived for hundreds of years. The desire for change does no good – we have passed that place.
We must act now: for the benefit of ourselves, our country and our democracy.
