House of Cards: Kevin Spacey was fined மில்லியன் 31 million for production

Actor Kevin Spacey has been ordered to pay $ 31 million (approximately .5 27.5 million) to MRC, the production company of the “House of Cards” series he co-chaired.

The MRC sought compensation for the substantial loss of income related to his removal from the series. The company left the actor after allegations of harassment and sexual abuse against him.

The House of Cards scene had to be remodeled for its entire sixth season, eliminating the role played by Kevin Spacey, which was shortened to eight episodes instead of the originally planned thirteen episodes.

The MRC, which also pointed out that it did not know the reprehensible facts from Kevin Spacey before these harassment allegations came to light, after suspending the actor, launched an internal investigation which revealed that he was in fact guilty of such acts.

The lawsuit against the American beauty star, who was charged with indecent assault and sexual assault in the US state of Massachusetts, was dropped for no apparent reason. In 2020, he was re-charged by two men for allegedly sexually abusing a 14-year-old.

Launched in 2013, the House of Cards series follows the dishonest politician Frank Underwood. Kevin Spacey shared the bill with Robin Wright for the first five seasons. Following the allegations against Kevin Spacey, the producers announced that the sixth season would be the end of the series. Two episodes were fully filmed before the sexual harassment allegations appeared. MRC decided to remove them and “kill” the character of Frank Underwood and focus on the character played by Robin Wright in this 6th season.
