The random disconnection glitch in the Android Auto world has been around for a while, but a complete fix has never been provided.
Someone on Google Forums When it comes to this particular issue they complain that every bug they tried made zero difference and they are not at all ideas now.
Android Auto is disconnected at random times, even when the vehicle is running or still, starting first and running properly. The whole thing happens at different times, and it can take anywhere from a few seconds to a few minutes for Android Auto to shut down.
Users explain that they tried everything from restarting the phones, adjusting the battery optimization settings and completely resetting the device, using a lot of other cables, managing permissions and cleaning the USB ports, but nothing restored Android Auto to the default working state.
However, this is not a new issue and many people have been complaining about the same thing throughout the year. Although Google has tried to improve the experience with updates released in 2020 with Android Auto, this dilemma has never been fully resolved.
The good news is that the company is now officially taking care of the whole thing, however a member of the Android Auto team says it needs more feedback on what is going on to resolve it.
